The controller of the personal data you submit through the forms on Sellova is CARPE DIEM REAL ESTATE L.L.C, operating under the Sellova brand.

We process personal data under the laws of the United Arab Emirates, in particular Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL).

Sellova is a brand of CARPE DIEM REAL ESTATE L.L.C, Oxford Tower, Office 607, Business Bay, Dubai, UAE, trade licence 1126693 (DET Dubai), RERA office registration number (ORN) 33387.

We only collect the data you enter in a form:

• contact details: full name, phone number, email address,
• information about your property or your purchase criteria, as entered in the form,
• for agents: agency name if provided, licence number if provided, and the emirates and areas you select in the form,
• technical data sent by your browser with the form, namely IP address and browser type, used to protect the site against spam and abuse.

• contacting you about your enquiry and presenting matching opportunities, based on the consent you give in the form and because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract,
• sending information about new opportunities and the property market, only if you tick the separate, optional marketing consent,
• applying the security measures the PDPL requires, including protecting the site against spam and abuse, and establishing, exercising or defending legal claims as permitted by the PDPL.

Providing your data is voluntary, but without contact details we can't reply to your enquiry.

Your data is only shared with parties that help us handle your enquiry:

• our hosting and infrastructure provider (Vercel Inc.) and the database in which enquiries are stored (Upstash, Inc.),
• our email delivery provider (Resend), if email notifications are enabled,
• where needed, buyers, sellers or agents, limited to what is necessary to present a specific opportunity and only after agreeing it with you.

We don't sell your data and don't share it with other companies for marketing.

Our providers (Vercel, Upstash, Resend) process data on servers outside the United Arab Emirates, mainly in the European Union and the United States. We only transfer data on the terms set out in the PDPL: to countries that provide an adequate level of protection, or under contracts that require the provider to protect the data to a standard no lower than the one required in the UAE. On request, we'll tell you more about these safeguards.

We keep enquiry data until the matter is closed and, if we don't end up working together, for no longer than 24 months after our last contact. Data processed on the basis of consent is kept until you withdraw it. Data needed to defend against claims may be kept until the applicable limitation period expires.

Under the PDPL you have the right to:

• access your data and receive information about how it is processed,
• correct inaccurate or incomplete data,
• have your data erased,
• restrict processing,
• object to processing,
• data portability,
• withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in section 1. We'll reply without undue delay. You may also lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office.

If the GDPR applies to the processing of your data (for example, because you are in the EU or EEA), you may also complain to your local data protection supervisory authority.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures: encrypted connections (HTTPS), access to enquiries limited to the people who handle them, and abuse protection on the forms.

This site uses no cookies, tracking pixels or analytics tools. We don't profile users or make automated decisions about them.
